The following slideshow is from one of our recent installations:

VSS Installation

Sensors can be seen on the front and side of the trailer as well as the side of the cab.

Voice Interface

This shows the voice interface module wiring. We will need to change this and use the connector from the Radio to the VIM, eliminating the need for these connections.

SBC / Dash

This picture shows the wiring and the mounting of the SBC.

This area will be great for the flat panel screen.

Sensor Side View

We added the wing nut arrangement to set the angle of the sensor. We need to use locknuts on the bottom side.

Sensor 3 (Cab) Wiring

We were able to use the channel on the passenger side to run the cables for Sensor 3 and Sensor 2.

Cab Sensor Installation (Sensor 3)

We had to mount this sensor on standoff's to get it below the lip of the trailer.

Sensor 3 (Cab side)

This shows a closer view of the sensor clearing the lip of the cab.

Sensor 3 Wiring

This shows the two cables one from Sensor 2 and the other from Sensor three to the SBC. Also, we drilled a hole and used a grommet through the floorboard to get to Sensor 2. We did the same on the driver's side to get to Sensor 1.

This area will be great for the flat panel screen.

Right Side Sensor Back (Sensor 6)

We had to mount this sensor on standoff's to get it below the lip of the trailer.

Trailer Sensor (Right Side Number 5)

We were able to mount this sensor w/o any standoff's.

Rear Sensors

We can move these in closer or rotate them inward to eliminate any blind spots.

Final PigTail

PigTail Connection

We used terminals to connect the wires directly to the pigtail.

PigTail w/ bracket

Be sure to run the wire through the bracket before connecting it to the connector.

PigTail Bracket

We used the nut inserts to mount the bracket.

Front Sensors

Front Sensors mounted at a large angle still picked up the case on the ground.

Tape Front Sensor?

We added some duct tape to try to block out the ground. In the end we just mounted them up at an angle and we were able to miss the ground.

Short Truck Camera

Mounted below ligths. We didn't want the light to interfere with the picture.

Short Truck Signals

Backup, RT, and LT signals are located under the truck mid-section. This connector goes to C1 on the truck's Power Module. Blue is reverse.

Short Truck Signal Connections

The flat cable has the reverse, right turn, and left turn signals. We added a splice here for the reverse signal. This is located under the truck mid-section.

Short Truck's E-Brake

This bundle has the emergency brake signal. It is located next to the truck's power module mid-section (under the truck). This wire is traced back to the air solenoid

at the back axle.
